Of a dog’s head.

Your body is cold.
A shadow falls from
The wall,
And is spread like
Dead on the floor.

The cat speaks

You’re lost
But you already knew this.

Ты оглядываешься назад,

Но твоя тень

как кошка.
Кот говорит,

I fell from an inflatable bed
This morning.
Either there was too much air or I was too fat.
In a room small
Like a box
I see my dream,
Walking,
Like a silhouette next to me,
And it takes my tears
In its palm.
СПАТЬ ЭТО КАК УМЕРЕТЬ
Я упал с надувной кровати
этим утром.
Либо было слишком много воздуха, либо я слишком толстый.
В маленькой комнате
как коробка,
я вижу свою мечту,
ходьба,
как силуэт рядом со мной,

в его ладони.
Ivan de Monbrison
is a poet, novelist and artist born in 1969 in Paris. He has studied oriental languages in Paris, and then worked for the Picasso Museum, before dedicating himself to his own creativity. He has been published in literary magazines globally.
His last poetry book in English and Russian без лица / Faceless has just been released in Canada.
He does not believe that his art is of any real significance. He does it as some kind of tribal ritual. He is fully aware that vanity is one of the worst enemies of most poets and artists, and tries to stay away from it as much as possible.
